Instagram User has Nervous Breakdown over Warrior Warp

Probably would have hated the invention of fire, motor cars, and medicine.

DISCLAIMER: if your feelings get hurt easily, ignore this post. This is my version of the EvoWARP that everyone has been carrying on about. I made it from a cheap pair of shorts, some sidewall and a cup. In less that an hour, for $15 Not 5 years and millions. I have for some time felt a bit of anger towards certain lacrosse companies *cough Warrior cough*, and this recent release has really brought the situation to a head (pun intended). I love lacrosse, there is no denying that. I have lived and breathed lacrosse since the day I found and fell in love with this game. It is my game. It is your game. It is OUR game. One of the things that makes our game so special is our equipment, especially our sticks. Our wand, our spoon, our twig! It is ours. Each individual one being different and unique in some way, shape or form. Our unique game is what has so many people flocking toward our sport every year. Taking that freedom away is an injustice to you, to us and to the community as a whole. This isn't just about the WARP. It's about what it represents. Conformity. Conform to what the companies say is good and great and revolutionary. Conform to what they want you to use. Conform to one stick that is meant for every player. Conform to their price points and high profits by molding plastic and fabric a certain way. Conform to their chauvinistic, demeaning ways (see @mainelymesh's post on why he doesn't carry Warrior). I say no. There is not one stick for every player. Stringers, let your fingers do the talking. Players, let your play on the field do the same. Show your skills by hitting the wall and putting in the extra hours it takes to get better. We the players, stringers, coaches, and fans of the game we love, can do just as much, if not more, to have influence on where this game goes next. What are you going to do about it? #warpforward

This isn’t just about the WARP. It’s about what it represents. Conformity. Conform to what the companies say is good and great and revolutionary. Conform to what they want you to use. Conform to one stick that is meant for every player. Conform to their price points and high profits by molding plastic and fabric a certain way. He’s not the only stringer we’ve seen lose it on Warrior’s latest head/pocket set up but that above passage is a little outrageous. Pretty sure kids are playing lacrosse, because they aren’t good enough to play other sports.

Great opportunity to use this gif.

Do you think the Warp is as big of a challenge to words like freedom and liberty as IG user dealy44 believes?
