Shooting strings added. And…a toaster was used.
More interested in long term demo of the Warp now that we know shooters can be added to pocket.
@warriorlax Mid-pocket Warp, tight shooter at the top to stop the click, added lace for smooth release, lightened the kevlar with aramid thread safe UV protecting coating and topped off with a subtle pinch in the throat to increase channel and hold, all on an AX1 Evo shaft. #warpforward #warriorevo – Thanks @lacrosseunlimitedaustin
Don’t trust myself to use a toaster on a bagel let alone a lacrosse head. Wild stuff here.
Step 2 – Do not bake or boil, no reason to compromise overall head integrity and damage mesh/strings. Instead "toast" and use a standard toaster set on max heat. Hold mesh away from direct heat and keep it close to the top without touching the toaster. Only the plastic that will change angle needs to be heated, do both sides equally and get it to the point it is too hot to touch, about 2 to 3 cycles. No other part of the head or mesh should feel hot. Warps work well because kevlar has extreme heat resistance.
