From Lax Playbook.
Counting from up top.
Is counting from behind a Maryland or New York thing?
Mt. Lebanon showed off a 4-2 man up look against North Allegheny and Cumberland Valley. (they may have used it before. We only recently saw it in person.) Their 4-2 rotated into a 1-3-2. Cumberland Valley did have it scouted, however Brian Ward made a play anyway by rolling back and stepping into space before tagging a corner left handed.
Have you ever experimented with a 2-4 or 4-2 man up?
What about starting in a 2-4 and sending the top 2 down and flashing 1 up from the crease and so on? That would give you briefly… a 1-5.
