Commentary and Theory with a yinzer slant #year9

MCLA Top 25

The final regular season poll before conference tournament play begins in several conferences.

1. Grand Canyon (27)
2. Chapman
3. Arizona State
4. Oregon State
5. Colorado
6. Georgia Tech
7. Westminster
8. BYU
9. Virginia Tech
10. San Diego State
11. Cal Poly
12. Colorado State
13. Arizona
14. Boston College
15. Liberty
16. Sonoma State
17. Florida State
18. Michigan State
19. Duluth
20. Cal
21. Dominican
22. Simon Fraser
23. Davenport
24. Texas State
25. Minnesota

Minnesota closed out the season with a 2-4 including three losses to D2 teams but someone has to be ranked #25. Blame Oregon and UCSB for having down years and allowing new blood into the top 25.

Oregon State will be the team to watch when the bracket comes out. How close will their poll ranking match their tournament seed?

Since Boston College is banned from post season play, the PCLL will send an unranked team to California. New Hampshire is the only other PCLL team receiving votes. They have 8 points.

How will MCLA people if a school that receives a ton of school support feel if they capture they capture the title? Would be interested to learn how much player dues are at Grand Canyon and Westminster versus Colorado and Arizona State.

Even LaxPower doesn’t care that Minnesota dropped three contests to D2 foes.

No idea how LaxPower keeps BYU at #3 after losing games to the #7, #11, and #13 teams.
