Ohio Wesleyan’s Game Winner Over Denison with 19.7 Seconds Left

A man up opportunity for the Bishops capped off a thrilling D3 match up.

Senior attackman John Umbach with the honors.

Smooth stickwork by #3 Marcus Dietz to get that feed into Umbach. Doesn’t happen if #2 Brendan Bouchard can’t keep his cool under immense pressure from a Denison pole.

Denison scored on this fast break with both teams playing a man short to tie the game at 8.

Ohio Wesleyan last beat Denison in the 2013 NCAC tournament championship game 10-9. The now 12-0 Bishops were certainly the favorite in the 2015 regular season match up. Looking forward to the highlights of this game and the rematch in the NCAC tournament final.

Denison gets to take out some frustration on Kenyon, Wabash, and Wooster before the NCAC tournament.
