Notes

  • Matthew Redmond (Chartiers Valley) and Alex Mueser (Vincentian) are current members of Lake Erie College, the #1 ranked D2 program in the land. Full length Yinzers at the Next Level post coming shortly.
  • Strange ending for the Pine USC game earlier this week. Out of a timeout in overtime, a USC shot hit the outside of the net leading the USC bench to believe they had scored. They stormed the field only to realize that Pine was attempting to clear the ball. USC players made it back to their bench as Austin Hughes scored in transition. Oh yeah, this was just a few minutes after USC had scored with 4 seconds remaining to force the extra frame.
  • Tonight, Pine Richland hosts Seneca Valley. Shady Side hosts Upper St. Clair.
